The Rash Guard Shirt: Explained In Simple Terms

The word on the damaging effects of the sun's rays has been out for some time now, so just about everybody now knows that there is that added risk to spending time at beaches, lakes, and rivers. In fact recent accredited scientific research has indicated that the thinning of the upper atmospheric ozone layer can be directly connected to the increase in skin cancers around the globe.

So today the new trend in beachwear is called rash guard and it comes in several styles and colors schemes for men, women as well as kids. This snappy aquatic wear was originally designed and developed by and for surfers who needed something to protect their skin from the rough sand that gets glued into the wax on their boards.
